Eric O'Callaghan Wins Super Deaf Poker Event

O'Callaghan Unofficial Winner Of Super Deaf Poker Event; Kabwe Kabosha Wins Trophy

Eric O’Callaghan was crowned champion of the Super Deaf Poker Event in the Citywest Events Centre, County Dublin early Saturday morning.

The event was a great success and reached its cap of 100 which also included some hearing players, who had to adhere to the event rules concerning speech and sign language.

Kabwe Kabosha was the last deaf person standing earning himself €300 on top of the €1,580 he received for second place, plus the first-place trophy which was set aside for the top deaf player. Despite winning the event, O’Callaghan took home the second place trophy (as he is a hearing player), but the first place prize of €2,330.
