Andrew Kim Lifts Asia Pacific Poker Tour Title

American Wins PokerStar’s Korean Main Event For US$129,688

Kim beat runner-up and fellow countryman Vincent Rubianes after striking a deal fourhanded. At the start of heads up play Kim had just over 3 million in chips while his opponent had 2.1 milllion and he picked his spots carefully, gradually wearing down Rubianes until the final pre-flop showdown saw all the chips go into the middle with Kim holding ASpade Suit KDiamond Suit and TDiamond Suit TClub Suit. He hit an ace on the flop and never looked back.
