Incheon International Airport Corp. is looking to build a $3 billion casino resort near Seoul, South Korea, AFP reported this week.
“We plan to develop the property like the resorts in Las Vegas or Macau,” a spokeswoman said.
Bloomberg reported that an unannounced U.S. investor is seeking to get involved with the project, which will see construction start next year.
During the intervening months, the nation’s capital will welcome a visit from the Asian Pacific Poker Tour, according to PokerStars. The APPT is going back to Korea in March to host a $2,600 buy-in tournament at the Paradise Walkerhill Casino.
