The PaddyPowerPoker.com €100 + €10 buy-in Student Masters has found its final nine and now they must await their fate.
Dublin’s Burlington Hotel saw 169 students flock to the felt on Mar. 10 to battle for the €4,650 top prize from a total prize pool of €16,900, plus the winner will also receive a €3,500 Irish Open seat.
It took 13.5 hours for the final table to surface, and leading the pack is National College of Ireland student Sam Jackson with 335,300. The final nine contains players from six different colleges who will see each other again on Apr. 5, the evening before the Irish Open kicks off, to play down to a champion.
