Big Names Take Part in iSeriesLive at Irish Poker OpenFirst iSeriesLIVE Event Featuring Hole Cards And Live Betting Kicks Off On April 5 In Dublin |

A new interactive poker series, iSeriesLIVE, has today been launched by poker agency, Poker Royalty. The series is sure to be a hit among poker fans as it allows them to watch some of the best in the business battle each other live with hole cards, with the audience free to interact by betting on the action as it happens.
Players will have no access to mobile devices or outside influences and viewers will be able to bet on various scenarios such as next player eliminated, the colour of the flop, last longers, and who they think is going to win (with the odds changing as the stacks do). Not only that but another of Poker Royalty’s innovative ideas will see all featured players reap cash rewards as they will receive a revenue split of all money bet on or against them during the live event.
The first iSeriesLIVE event will take place in Dublin, Ireland on Apr. 5 at 6 p.m. (WET), the eve of the Irish Open. The €10,000 buy-in, winner-takes-all 10-person shootout will feature players such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Carlos Mortensen, and Dave Ulliott, and betting will be offered exclusively by PaddyPower with almost 50 options currently available.
Phil Hellmuth said, “For poker to continue to grow, the game needs to become more immediate to our fans. By allowing fans to view a poker event as it actually happens, with hole cards exposed, and bet on the action just as they would on football or horse racing, iSeries LIVE can help take our game to the next level.”
Other iSeries LIVE events will be offered in future such as 36 person events, six max no-limit hold’em, heads-up tournaments, and much more.
Brian Balsbaugh, founder of Poker Royalty, said, "We’re all about finding new ways to help players make money. With iSeriesLIVE, participating players have the opportunity to share in the profits of the event while fans of the game get to live vicariously through their favourite pros as they bet on the action. It’s an exciting step in the overall growth of the game.”
PaddyPower’s licensed and regulated markets will offer live betting, but those who are not in a licensed PaddyPower market (such as the United States) can still follow all the action in real time at iSeriesLive.com.
