The European Masters of Poker pulls into Casino Estoril in Lisbon, Portugal for its second stop of the season.
Action kicks off today at 4 p.m. (local time) in Portugal’s capital, and largest, city with day 1A of the €1,000 + €100 buy-in main event, and with a live €100 + €10 freezeout satellite at 9 p.m. this evening, there is still time for players to qualify for day 1B.
Players sit down to a starting stack of 20,000 and 45-minute blinds beginning at 50-100. A 25 ante kicks in at level 5 and blinds increase to 60 minutes at level 7. You can follow all the action as it happens via the live reporting feed.
Day 2 and the final will kick off at 3.30 p.m. with the champion crowned on Apr. 1. Last year Finn Jukka Koskela walked away with €72,615 for beating a 309-strong field.
