Young UK poker pro James Dempsey has won the inaugural iSeries Live event in Dublin beating Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott heads up to claim the winner-takes-all $100,000 prize.

The $10,000 buy in, ten-handed sit ‘n’ go game was broadcast live on the web with hole cards and extensive graphics. Players could bet in running on up to 50 markets at PaddyPower.com.

Players started with 100,000 in chips, a 40 minute clock and starting blinds of 500/1000 and a 100 ante. The game lasted over 8 hours before Dempsey, who started heads up as slight chip leader, took it down.
