8th Annual Arizona State Poker Championship

This August, battle it out for the big title and a share of $1 million in the 8th Arizona State Poker Championships held in The Arena Poker Room at Talking Stick Resort. Registration is currently open.

The tournament buy-in of $1,000+$70 provides 15,000 worth of tournament chips. There are unlimited entries. The prize pool of $1 million is guaranteed by the Jackpot Promotional Fund (JPF) based on a minimum of 975 entries.

Based on 1,000 entries, first place will take home more than $200,000, plus the championship bracelet and trophy.

Tournament Schedule:

Day 1: Friday, August 10, play begins at 9 a.m.
Day 2: Saturday, August 11, play begins at 9 a.m.
Day 3: Sunday, August 12, play begins at 9 a.m.
Semifinals – Day 4: Monday, August 13, play begins at 9 a.m.
Finals – Day 5: Tuesday, August 14, play begins at 10 a.m.

• Players can sign up at the box office by calling (480) 850-7734.
• This is a 5-day event; a number of participants (to be determined) will play on days 1, 2 and 3 until 6 p.m. to determine semifinalists.
• Players with chips remaining advance to the semifinal and final rounds.
• Semifinal round will be held on the 4th day and will continue for 24 hours from the start time or until 10 players remain, whichever is first.
• The final will be held on the 5th day of the tournament (8/14/12) to determine a champion out of the 10 remaining players.
• Players may purchase an optional $30 bonus for 10,000 bonus tournament chips on days 1, 2 and 3. Bonus must be purchased prior to start of tournament. Limit one bonus per player per tournament.
• Participants who are eliminated on day one and/or day two are allowed one re-buy of $1,070. Re-buys are only good for days two and three.
• Elimination from tournament is determined by chip count.
• All participants must be 21 years of age or older to participate.
• The Enterprise reserves the right to cancel or modify this tournament.
• Winners are responsible for any applicable tax liabilities on cash prizes
