paddypowerpoker.com hosts its weekly Irish Winter Festival satellite tonight Sunday, May 27 at 8 p.m.
Players can buy in directly to the €130 + 10 event or qualify through a variety of feeder satellites for just a few euro.
The Irish Winter Festival main event is a €1,000 + €125 buy-in main event played between Oct. 26 and 29 at Dublin’s Burlington Hotel, with a full schedule of side events yet to be announced.
This year sees PaddyPowerPoker extend its popular Sole Survivor promotion to Six Survivors meaning the final six remaining PaddyPowerPoker.com qualifiers in the IWF main event will get free entry into next year’s Irish Open.
On top of this, the Six Survivors will also qualify for the €100,000 Sole Survivor promotion at the Irish Open 2013 main event where the final qualifier standing receives €50,000 in cash and €50,000 in sponsorship package.
Last year John Keown topped a field of 395 at the IWF main event for a payday of €100,000. The Northern Irish player also won the Sole Survivor competition.
