Mega Poker Series Announces Croatian Stop

The Mega Poker Series has announced the next stop on its tour. It will visit the Grand Hotel and Casino Adriatic in Opatija, Croatia from Oct. 17-21 and will feature a four-day €770 buy-in main event.

The MPS Croatian Open is sponsored by Poker770 and offers six side events with a range of buy-ins including a €1,500 + €150 no-limit hold’em Highroller event on Oct. 20. Cash games run 24 hours a day.

On Oct. 17 there are five main event seats guaranteed in a live satellite at 7 p.m. (local time) which features a buy-in of €50 + €10 with a €50 rebuy/add-on.

The main event begins on Oct. 18 with the first of two starting days. Action kicks off at 4 p.m., when players will sit down to 77,000 in chips and levels of 60 minutes in length. The blinds will increase every 77 minutes from day 2.

Up until the end of level 6, players have a single re-entry if they lose all their chips.

The final table plays out on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m..

The last stop, the Casino Gran Madrid, was won by Samuel Bernabeu who topped a field of 507 (465 players and 42 re-entries) to take the €65,000 top prize.
