Barry Denson Endures Five Days Of Non-Stop Poker For Charity

The Grosvenor G Casino in Manchester tweeted the news that poker player Barry Denson has broken the poker marathon record with an astounding 120 hours and 20 minutes.

@GCManchester wrote, “Wow congratulations Barry denson @tnplmanchester – 120 hours and 20 minutes of non stop poker! Breaking the world record by 5 hours 20mins!”

The Brit was hoping to Break Phil Laak’s 2010 record when he sat down to play poker for five consecutive days at the Grosvenor G Casino, while also aiming to raise £1,000 for Help for Heroes.

The last heard from the record breaker was on Jul. 4 when he tweeted, “96hrs down and 19 to go. should coast it!”

The amount has not yet been announced but people can still pledge at justgiving.co.uk.
