With the Olympics descending on east London over the coming weeks poker fans won’t have long to wait before they get to test their own skills in the area with the news that Aspers new casino at Westfield Stratford in the Olympic Park will host the third live leg of the Unibet Open from September 13 to 16, 2012.
It’ll be the third Unibet Open in the English capital but the first at Aspers new casino which will host a wide array of cash games and side events in luxurious surroundings with two stunning bars and a top class restaurant all just six minutes from St. Pancras International station by high-speed train.
The main event is the usual €1,500 + €150 no-limit hold’em tournament with 20,000 starting stack and a 60 minute clock. There will be a maximum of 400 players permitted to play in the event.
The Unibet Open London was previously won by Thanh Doan and Paul Valkenburg.
