32Red, the publicly-quoted online gaming operator specializing in casino, saw its first half 2012 poker revenue unchanged from the first half of 2011.

The company earned £600,000 in the first six months of 2012 in poker revenue, the same as the first half of 2011 but up 20 percent from the £500,000 earned in the second half of 2011. In the full year 2011 32Red’s poker revenue jumped 15 percent to £1.06 million on the 2012 figure.

Overall the company saw record revenues with gross win up 50 percent to £16.5 million in the first half of 2012 from £11 million in the first half of 2011.

Chief executive officer of 32Red, Ed Ware, said,”The continued growth in revenues, particularly in light of strong comparatives, is testament to the strong new player recruitment resulting from more investment in our main market, the UK.

“We aim to continue in this regard as well as taking our first measured steps in entering the Italian market.

“While we recognise the potential for economic and regulatory uncertainty across Europe, we look forward to further progress during the second half of 2012.’’
