The Asian Poker Tour rolls into the Starworld Hotel, Macau today, Wednesday July 25.
The week-long festival hosts 12 tournaments in total including the Heads Up Asian Champ event with a HK$5,500 (US$709) buy in today and the PokerAce High Roller event starting tomorrow with a HK$100,000 (US$12,890) buy in. There is also a ladies event, a deepstack turbo game and sixhanded tournament.
The HK$25,000 (US$3,222) buy in main event, which starts Friday, has two starting days and is a re-entry event. Players start with 15,000 in chips and a one hour clock.
The last time the APT hit Macau the main event was won by Zhang Dan Peng from China who took down approximately US$215,000.
