The World Poker Tour Merit Cyprus Classic has found its final table from an original field of 329 and in the lead with a little more than 2.4 million in chips is Ran Azor.
Closing in on him however is Marvin Rettenmaier who starts the day in third place on the leader board with 2 million.
The final table of six was created with the elimination of Erik Cajelais at the hands of Rettenmaier.
Cajelais, who went into the day as chip leader, left in seventh place for $43,690 after his A 6 couldn’t win a race against the German and his pocket twos.
The first player to leave the final table will receive $52,590.

The $4,000 + $400 re-entry main event kicked off on Aug. 4 at the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino in Kyrenia, Cyprus. The winner will be crowned later today and will walk away with $287,784.
