The Red Spade Open kicks off today, Sunday, Aug. 12, at 3 p.m. (ET). The $55 buy-in special PokerStars tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million including at least $200,000 for the winner.
Low stakes players will get the chance to play for big cash prizes alongside some of the elite in the business. Not only that but they will also get to hunt down all Team PokerStars Pro and Team Online members taking part, receiving $100 per Team Pro casualty.
“crackin_ty” of Austria won the last Red Spade Open for $247,378. The Open replaces the Bigger $55 regular weekly event for this week and it will be business as usual from Aug. 19.
