The annual Malmö Open main event gets underway today Thursday August 30 at Casino Cosmopol in the southern Swedish City of Malmö.
The SEK15,000 + SEK700 (approximately €1,880) buy in no-limit hold’em freezeout tournament has a capacity for 120 players.
Players start with 30,000 in chips and will play one hour levels with blinds starting at 50/100.
The event will be streamed live with the company saying, “Starting from 2 pm on Thursday 30 August you can follow the Main Event here on our website. Live reports will bring the latest pictures, interviews and chip counts right through until the winner of the Main Event has been found.”
