Season III of the Grand Series of Poker (GSOP) gets underway tomorrow Tuesday September 4, 2012 in St. Julians, Malta.
The €1,000 + €100 buy in main event has two day 1s. Direct buy-ins will be accommodated on Tuesday (day 1A) at the Portomaso Casino while online qualifiers get their shot on Wednesday (day 1b).
The GSOP is the flagship live series owned and operated by the Ongame network, home to online poker rooms such as Betfair, Gala Casinos, Coral and Betsson.
Players start with 20,000 in chips. Blind levels are one hour and start at 25/50.
Malta last appeared on the GSOP schedule in November 2010 when it was won by Janos Katzenberger who took down €72,550.
