The World Poker Tour Grand Prix de Paris main event gets underway at the Aviation Club de France today.
The €7,500 buy in no-limit hold’em tournament has two day 1s and players will get a 30,000 starting stack with a 90 minute clock. The action gets underway at 2 p.m. local time and Saturday’s final table will be streamed live on the web.
Last year the event was won by Matthew Waxman who topped the 312-strong field took down the €500,000 first prize at a final table which included Hugo Lamaire and Martin Jacobson.
