Dramatic Runner-Runner End To €3,300 Buy In Tournament In Malta

Yorane Kerignard from France has won the €3,300 buy in World Poker Tour Malta main event.

The New York resident beat Jackson Genovesi heads up in the 169 runner field but had to rely on a little bit of luck to do so hitting runner-runner cards to make two pair ahead of his opponent’s top pair on the flop.

Both men broke down in tears after the dramatic finish.

Kerignard now has just over $1 million in tournament earnings having previously made the final table of three European Poker Tour main events. He has been playing poker since only 2007.
