Leg 10 of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) has been taken down by Robin Keston. The Brit receives £84,310 from a total prize pool of £315,000 for topping a field of 315 at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino.
Keston, who has more than $1 million in live winnings to his name, had taken advantage of the GUKPT main event’s single re-entry option with five minutes to spare after busting out and getting a haircut.
The final table saw the poker Gods shine down upon him as he was dealt aces in three key hands. After reaching the heads-up stage with Daniel Rudd, it took three hours for Keston to seal the deal. The first all in and call saw Keston’s pocket jacks hold against Rudd’s A-2.
Here are the final table results and payouts:
1. Robin Keston £84,310
2. Daniel Rudd £55,910
3. Nathan Lee £37,010
4. Ramsey Ajram £22,050
5. Matthew Davenport £16,700
6. Andrew Seden £13,540
7. Simon Deadman £10,400
8. Huseyin Houssein £7,880
9. Elliot Panyi £5,980
The GUKPT will pull in to Luton on Oct. 14 and the main event will kick off on Oct. 19. Festivities will continue until Oct. 21 when a new champion will be crowned.
