Genting Poker Series Online Leg Wraps Up With Main Event

Fifth Stop Of Genting Poker Series Sees Main Event Play Out Online Today

The fifth stop of the Genting Poker Series (GPS) which has been playing out online sees its main event begin today at 5 p.m..

The one-day, £400 + £30 buy-in no-limit hold’em event is the last event of seven and guarantees £100,000.

Player sit down to a 25,000 starting stack with blinds increasing every 15 minutes. Registration remains open until level nine.

Among runners will be Brit poker pro Paul “Action” Jackson and World Series of Poker double bracelet winner Praz Bansi. Jackson said, "After a deep run in the first event, I’m really looking forward to playing the online leg.

“With Genting maintaining the same guarantee, £100,000, as they have with the legs in their clubs the value and the format is phenomenal. A 25,000 starting stack is almost unheard of for online poker and it gives players of all abilities a really good chance of making the money.”

The online leg began on Sept. 27 and wraps up later today with the discovery of another main event champion.
