Unibet is set to pay the Spanish tax authorities €3.2 million.

The company is following in the footsteps of many others as it finalizes with the authorities.

This is a one-off payment related to activities which targeted the Spanish market between January 2009 and May 2011. Unibet did not apply for a B2C gaming licence and does not at this moment target the Spanish market.

The company left the Spanish online gambling market ahead of the June 1 issuance of licences.
