Student Poker Masters Hits Dublin Next March

PaddyPowerPoker.com has today announced details of its Student Masters 2013 which is coming up next March 2 and 3 – the winner of which will receive an entry into next year’s Irish Open.

The student-only poker festival will take place in two venues in Dublin; day 1 in the Ballsbridge Hotel, and day 2 in the Jackpot Casino. Day 1 of the €100 + €10 buy-in, no-limit hold’em freezeout main event begins at 2 p.m. on Mar. 2 and will continue until the bubble pops (or 2 a.m.), with day 2 following on from 2 p.m. on Mar. 3.

The festival also sees a €20 + €2 no-limit hold’em freezeout play out on Saturday, March 2.

Qualifiers for the main event will begin at PaddyPowerPoker.com from this coming Monday, Oct. 15 with freerolls and satellites galore. The password for all such events is STUDENT.

Two weekly satellites will give away a €110 Student Masters seat each. The first, a €5 + €0.50 no-limit hold’em rebuy satellite, takes place at 7:30 p.m. every Monday. This is followed by a €1 + €0.10 rebuy feeder satellite (at 8 p.m.) into Wednesday’s €10 + €1 no-limit hold’em freezeout (7:30 p.m.) which is also giving away a Masters seat.

Aside from this there are two seats going for free every month in the site’s Student Masters freerolls, which will start Oct. 28 and run until Feb. 24. Third to tenth place finishers get an €11 token for Wednesday’s online satellite.
