Dan Heimiller Wins World Series of Poker Circuit Southern Indiana

Longtime Pro Captures First Gold Ring and $117,300

Dan Heimiller Dan Heimiller has emerged victorious in the 2012 World Series of Poker Circuit Southern Indiana main event, capturing his first WSOP Circuit gold ring and $117,300.

This was Heimiller’s 27th career title, increasing his lifetime tournament earnings to just under $4 million. He was also awarded 480 Card Player Player of the Year points for the win.

A total of 340 entries were made in this $1,650 buy-in event, building a $510,000 prize pool. Only 36 players made the money, but among them were some recognizable names including Kathy Liebert (21st – $5,126), Jason Stanford (18th – $6,085) and Kenny Nguyen (16th – $6,085).
