The G Casino in Luton will be a den of poker action this week with the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour’s eleventh leg.

Before the highlight of the main event there are plenty of side events to whet one’s appetite.

This evening at 7.30 p.m. (local time) there is a one-day, £100 + £10 no-limit hold’em freezeout (with re-entry); Tuesday at the same time sees the start of a two-day, £300 + £30 no-limit hold’em freezeout; a £250 + £25 pot-limit Omaha freezeout kicks off at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, and a one-day, six-max freezeout comes at the cost of £200 + £20 on Oct. 18 at 7.30 p.m..

The schedule is filled to the brim with no-limit hold’em freezeouts, regular and turbo, at a range of buy-ins. There is also a £100 + £10 bounty booster tournament running alongside the main event final table, on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 4 p.m..

There are satellites aplenty at various buy-ins and formats for the £1,000 + £70 main event which starts this Friday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. and runs until the final day of the live festival, Sunday, Oct. 21.

The three-day main event sees a starting stack of 20,000 and one-hour blind levels. Play begins at 2 p.m. each day and re-entry and late entry is allowed for six levels.

It is allowed for just three in the side events and players may re-enter once per day at the full registration fee.

The last leg of this season’s Tour was won by Robin Keston when he bested a field of 315 at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London for a nice £84,310 payday.
