Atlantic City’s 12 casinos were hit hard by Hurricane Sandy, reporting only $209.4 million in revenue after Gov. Chris Christie forced a closure for more than four days. The loss of business represented a more than $50 million decline from a year ago.
Steve Wynn Proposes Riverfront Casino In Fishtown
Steve Wynn has become the third to propose a casino and hotel in Fishtown, part of the greater Philadelphia area. The 150,000 square foot property, called Wynn Philadelphia, would feature a 300-room hotel, 2,500 slots and 100 table games.

Report Says Social Casino Games Bring In $1.6 Billion
SuperData, an online games research company, has stated that global revenues from social casino games has now reached $1.6 billion, with $660 million of that revenue coming from the United States. Data shows that casino gamers are spending nearly twice as much as regular social gamers.
