Bettors can place bets on outright winners, final table participants, female player to make final table, age of winner, and nationality of winner, among others.

The early lines are:

  • Mel Judah 80 - 1
  • Ram Vaswani 80 - 1
  • Dave Colclough 100 - 1
  • Barny Boatman 100 - 1
  • Padraig Parkinson 100 - 1
  • Ross Boatman 100 - 1
  • Joe Beevers 100 - 1
  • Roy Brindley 100 - 1
  • Andy Black 100 - 1
  • Donnacha O'Dea 125 - 1
  • Noel Furlong 150 - 1
  • Vincent Melinn 200 - 1

Last year, Melinn won the event and as a bonus, won €47,000 because he bet €250 on himself each way.

The buy-in for the Irish Open is €3,300, and the event is the oldest poker tournament in Europe. It will take place at the Merrion Casino Club in Dublin.
