In this Card Player weekly feature we look to provide our readers with a guide to some of the biggest poker events taking place in their area for the upcoming week. NEVADA

  • The 2012 Five Diamond World Poker Classic (Nov 25, ‘12 – Dec 09, ’12) High stakes tournament action will be going down all week at Bellagio’s WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic. Early highlights from the event include a $2,620 no-limit hold’em event beginning on Nov. 27th and a $5,180 no-limit hold’em event starting on Nov. 30th. The marquee tournament of the series will undeniably be the $10,300 World Poker Tour main event that kicks off on Dec. 4th, and continues until a champion is decided on Dec. 9th.

NORTHEAST

  • The 2012 WSOP Circuit Harah’s Resort Atlantic City (Nov 29, ‘12 – Dec 10, ’12) The Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey will be the site of the next stop on the World Series of Poker Circuit, with the tour pulling into town for its standard 12-event series starting on Nov. 29th. The highlight of the first weekend is a $580 no-limit hold’em event kicking off on Dec. 2nd. The $1,675 main event will get underway next week, starting on Dec. 8th and continuing until a champion is decided on Dec. 10th.

CALIFORNIA

  • 2012 Larry Flynt’s Holiday Poker Classic (Nov 23, ‘12 – Dec 17, ’12) The Hustler Casino in Gardena, California continues with its 10-event series as it enters its second week. Highlights from the coming days include the $100,000 guaranteed, five-day $120+$60 add-on no-limit hold’em event that begins on Nov. 30th.

INTERNATIONAL

  • The 2012 WPT Mazagan (Nov 27, ‘12 – Dec 01, ’12) The Mazagan Beach Resort in Morocco will play host to a World Poker Tour €3,500 no-limit hold’em re-entry main event, with the first of two starting days kicking off on Nov. 27th. Play will continue until a champion is decided on Dec. 1st.
