Ramzi Jelassi Lifts European Poker Tour Prague Title

Twenty-Six Year Old Swede Scoops €850,000 In Czech Capital

Courtesy of PokerStarsRamzi Jelassi from Sweden has won the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague main event taking down €850,000 for topping the 856-strong field in the Czech capital.

Jelassi started the final table as chip leader and took three hours to dispense with his heads up opponent Sotirios Koutoupas.

After his victory in the €5,300 buy in event the 26-year-old said, “It feels amazing. We played a long time. Yes, I’ve realized I’ve won but it will take a few days to settle in. I don’t really feel like I’ve won yet, but I’m really happy.”

He now has over $2 million in career tournament winnings and an EPT title to add to his Italian Poker Tour one.
