PokerStars undertakes two weeks of poker at Casino Barrière, Deauville, France starting today, Tuesday January 29.

First up is the grand final of season two of France Poker Series with a €1,000 + €100 buy in main event starting tomorrow, Wednesday, January 30 with two day 1s with the final table taking place on Sunday, February 3.

The €5,000 + €300 European Poker Tour Deauville main event also gets underway on Sunday, February 3, also with two day 1s and a final table taking place six days later on Saturday, February 9.

Last year Vadzim Kursevich from Belarusia won €850,000 for topping the 888-strong main event field.

In total there are almost 50 events taking place over a two-week period in Deauville including pot-limit Omaha, turbo, sixhanded, ladies, high roller, eighthanded, bounty, heads up, and rebuy/add on events.

Four percent of all prize pools will be withheld from all events for government taxes.

All eyes will be on attendances at the events following recent poor turnouts at the Euro Finals of Poker and the decline in online poker in the country in 2012.
