John Tabatabai has won Betfair Poker LIVE! London taking down £24,209 for topping the 368-strong field at Aspers Casino in the British capital.
The €600 + £50 re-entry event, Betfair’s biggest yet, also featured Betfair’s unique ‘Terminator’ format where each player has a $100 bounty on their head which is collected by the player who knocks them out.
World Series of Poker bubble girl Elisabeth Halle made it through day 1A and made the money after the guaranteed prize pool of £100,000 grew to £180,000. But it was former WSOPE runner up Tabatabai took the lion’s share for his victory.
The next Betfair LIVE! event takes place in Prague, Czech Republic in May.
