Kickstarter, a website dedicated to companies looking for start up capital, or “crowd funding,” has removed an upcoming multi-player online casino game from its website after four days.

The site, which has helped fund everything from films and documentaries to fashion and food-related projects, gave no reason for their decision to kick out the game. A spokesperson for Kickstarter told GamesBeat that the site will not comment for legal and privacy reasons.

The site’s Terms of Use state that Kickstarter can suspend a project if it offers financial incentives.

The game in question is called Chumba World and is described by it’s creators as a social-gaming platform on Facebook that combines elements of Second Life, Farmville and Las Vegas. Players can build their own online casinos to bring in other users and then earn real cash based on the number of visitors they attract.

Chumba World is owned by Virtual Gaming Worlds out of Perth, Australia, which was seeking $50,000 through Kickstarter to finish up the project. Instead, the company will now seek venture capital funding.
