Serb Beats 253 Opponents To Take Down $271,258 In Austria

The Serb took home $271,258 for his victory over 253 opponents which saw him dominate proceedings ending days three and four as chip leader and knocking out two of his final table opponents before getting heads up with Dutchman Paul Berende.

However all eyes were on Marvin Rettenmaier at the start of play. The two-time WPT champion was gunning for a hat-trick but it was not to be as the German was eliminated in fifth place.

Bozinovic then knocked out Kimmo Kurko and Oswin Ziegelbecker in fourth and third places respectively.

Bozinovic came from behind against Berende with one hand seeing him catching a straight on the river before dominating Berende with ASpade Suit 9Spade Suit vs AClub Suit 8Club Suit which held.

The final table payouts and Player of the Year points were:

3: Oswin Ziegelbecker — $111,587 (408 POY points)
4: Kimmo Kurko — $81,034 (306 POY points)
