The Asian Poker Tour: Asian Series Jeju starts tomorrow, Wednesday, February 27 on Korea’s southern island of Jeju.
The festival runs until March 6 at the Royal Palace Casino in the Oriental Hotel and features a wide variety of games – 13 in total – including heads up, deepstack turbos, head hunter, freezeout, a $2,500 buy in high roller and a $10,600 buy in super high roller.
The main event, a $1,100 buy in no-limit hold’em event, takes place from Saturday Mar. 2 to Wednesday Mar. 6 and there are eight opportunities to qualify in live satellites.
The main event structure sees players start with 20,000 in chips with 45 minute levels and blinds starting at 25/50.
Up to 300 players are expected for the main event which allows late entries and alternates for the first four levels.
Englishman Samad Razavi was the 2012 season Asian Poker Tour Player of the Year. Jeon Seung Soo became the first 2013 champion for his victory in Cebu, Philippines in January taking home €38,000.
