Bad Beat Jackpot At BetVictor Passes €900,000Jackpot Will Be Suspended On March 6 For Positive Changes To Be Implemented |

The Bad Beat Jackpot has passed the €900,000 mark at BetVictor Poker but there’s just three days left for it to hit before it’s suspended and some big and positive changes take place.
Currently standing at €905,055 – the highest Bad Beat Jackpot in online poker history – the Jackpot will be stalled on Wednesday March 6 and tweaked considerably before being re-introduced on March 19 when many more players will benefit.
The changes will see the Jackpot become ‘opt in’ on all cash game tables from €0.10/€0.20c and higher.
Each opted in player will contribute €0.02 to the Jackpot from each hand with all opted in players across the stake benefiting from any payout.
As well as many more players benefitting as a result of this, the Jackpot will be easier to hit as the qualifying hand will be reduced to four-of-a-kind twos from four-of-a-kind eights.
Additionally there is no admin fee meaning 100 percent of the collected monies will be distributed to players.
Andy Horne, head of poker at BetVictor, Andy Horne, said, “The new Bad Beat Jackpot structure will see many more players share in the prize pool and because it will hit more often we’ll boost many more bankrolls as a result.
“However, don’t forget there’s still three days to win the current Jackpot before it is suspended for a couple of weeks so jump onto those tables. Someone has to hit it eventually. It might be you. Right now!”
