Team Negreanu and Team Hansen competed this past weekend in a heads-up format, and the former group came out as the victor in convincing fashion.

The $150,000 match originated from a Hansen Tweet which needled Negreanu about a high-stakes hand from 2006. Negreanu responded by issuing a challenge to Hansen.

In Negreanu’s proposal, he would pick two teammates from “Team PokerStars Pro” to face Hansen, Tom Dwan and Viktor Blom — the two other members of Full Tilt’s “The Professionals”. Negreanu ended up picking Isaac Haxton and Bertrand Grospellier.

Playing at the European Poker Tour London, each player competed in a best-of-three heads-up online match. It was Dwan playing Haxton, Blom against Grospellier and Hansen versus Negreanu. Dwan was the only Full Tilt player to win a match, as Team Negreanu won 8-1.

A funny moment of the match was when Negreanu, according to PokerStars Blog, got up from his chair to celebrate after Hansen moved all in when Negreanu was holding the nuts, only to forget to actually click “call”. Negreanu ended up “timing out” and folding his hand.

However, he still beat Hansen after the blunder.
