The action is truly heating up, with a number of huge tournaments this week including a $2,100 buy-in no-limit holdem event that begins on Mar. 14th. But of course the highlight of the entire series is the marquee $5,180 Card Player Poker Tour no-limit hold’em main event that gets underway with the first of two starting days on Mar. 17 and continues until a champion is decided at the CPPT live-streamed final table on Mar. 21.
FLORIDA
- The 2013 Battles at the Beach (Mar 04, ‘13 – Mar 19, ’13) The Isle Casino in Pompano Beach, FL continues with the second week of it’s 14-event tournament series, with this week’s highlight being the $3,300 no-limit hold’em main event which gets underway on Mar. 15th at noon with the first of two starting days.
CALIFORNIA
- The 2013 Winnin’ o’ the Green (Mar 04, ‘13 – Apr 03, ’13) The Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, CA is hosting a 26-event series starting on March 4th, with this week’s highlight being the gigantic $1 million guaranteed prize pool, $200,000 guaranteed first-place prize event no. 16. The $150 buy-in no-limit hold’em re-entry event features an optional $100 re-but/add-on and 22 starting flights over 11 starting days, beginning on Mar. 15th with flights getting underway at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
NORTHEAST
- The 2013 Foxwoods Poker Classic (Mar 04, ‘13 – Mar 17, ’13) The Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT moves into the second week of its annual Foxwoods Poker Classic, a 21-event series of tournaments. - The 2013 Ozark Poker Championship (Mar 08, ‘13 – Mar 17, ’13) The Cherokee Resort Casino in West Siloam Springs, OK continues with it’s Ozark Poker Championship series of 12 events later this week, with the early highlight being a $150 pot-limit Omaha event on March 9th.
