Event 8 – $550 No-Limit Hold’em

The eighth event of the Card Player Poker Tour Wynn Las Vegas drew 115 entries, building a prize pool of $55,775. The top thirteen players made the money, and eventual champion Kevin Hong walked away with $15,618. The Las Vegas, NV resident was also awarded 120 Card Player Player of the Year points for his first tournament title.

Event 9 – $440 No-Limit Hold’em $100,000 Guarantee

The first of two starting days in event no. 9 of the CPPT Wynn drew 222, nearly meeting the event’s $100,000 guarantee already. This is the second $440 buy-in of the series, the previous being event no. 5, which attracted 478 entrants and built a prizepool of $185,464.
