Reece Lewis Wins Word Poker Tour National London

Third In Chips At Start Of Final Table, Lewis takes Down £80,000 For Victory in £1,650 Buy In Event

Courtesy of PartyPokerReece Lewis is the new World Poker Tour National London champion taking down £80,000 for his victory over the 218-strong field at Aspers Stratford Casino, London.

Lewis who started the day as third in chips in the £1,500 + £150 buy in event which allowed day 1A entrants to re-enter on day 1B.

The final table lasted six-and-a-half hours in total and Lewis knocked out two players en route to his heads up with start-of-day chip leader Elior Sion with around a 3:1 chip lead.

In the end it was a straightforward case of A-A for Lewis vs. A-10 for Sion and no help from the board for the latter saw Lewis pick up the winners cheque and trophy.
