In this Card Player weekly feature we look to provide our readers with a guide to some of the biggest poker events taking place in their area for the upcoming week. NEVADA

  • The 2013 Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza II (Mar 28, ’13 – Apr 25, ’13) The Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV kicks off the second iteration of its Deep Stack Extravaganza series of 2013 late this week, with the kickoff event featuring a $400 buy-in and a three-day runtime. The 85-event series will continue for roughly a month.
  • 2013 Golden Saturday III (Mar 30, ‘13) The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is hosting a $125 buy-in no-limit hold’em event with a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool starting at 12:00 PM.

SOUTH

  • The 2013 Spring Break Poker Classic (Mar 21, ‘13 – Mar 31, ’13) The Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, MS continues with the second and final week of its 14-event Spring tournament series, with upcoming highlight being the $1,070 no-limit hold’em championship event which begins on Mar. 29.

NORTHEAST

  • The 2013 WSOP Circuit Foxwoods (Mar 27, ‘13 – Apr 08, ’13) The World Series of Poker Circuit is making its next stop at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT beginning this week. The early highlight of the 12-event series is a $1,125 no-limit hold’em event that gets underway on Mar. 29.

MIDWEST

  • The 2013 Hollywood Harley Classic (Mar 27, ‘13 – Mar 30, ’13) The Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, IN has a four-day $550 no-limit hold’em event kicking off on Mar. 27th. In addition to the money from the prize pool, the event will also award a 2013 Harley Davidson Fat Boy to the eventual winner.
