Vince Neil returns to the poker world in two weeks for his "Off the Strip" charity poker tournament Sunday, Nov.5. Last year's event raised more than $170,000 for the T.J. Martell Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising money for cancer, AIDS, and leukemia research.
The tournament costs $540 and takes place at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas at 4 p.m. Seats are limited to 150, and everyone who makes the final table gets paid at least something. Celebrities, poker pros, and Las Vegas dancers will all be there.
A silent auction made up of memoriabilia from the sport, entertainment, and music worlds will also take place during the day. The auction is open to the public.
The day starts at 3 p.m. with a cocktail party hosted by Neil, who fronts the gigantic rock band Mötley Crüe. Following the cocktail party will be a live auction hosted by Playboy's Tiffany Granath.
As a bonus, the Small Town Poker Tour is also chipping in for the cause. Anyone who enters the tournament will also be able to play in any STPT event around the country for free.
Neil has a history of raising money for cancer research through his Skylar Neil Foundation, named in memory of Neil's daughter who died of cancer when she was still a child.
