Around 500 Players Expected for €700 +€70 Buy In Event In Spanish Capital

The Mega Poker Series Madrid main event got underway yesterday Wednesday, April 10, at Casino Gran Madrid in the Spanish capital with up to 500 players expected over the two day 1s.

The deepstacked event gives players 77,000 in chips to start with and a 60 minute clock rising to 77 minutes from day 2 onwards. Blinds start at 100/200.

Players are allowed one re-entry per day.

Three percent of the prize pool is to be deducted for dealers and staff and a further one percent of the main event and side event (except satellites) prize pool will go towards the yearly leader board. Fifteen percent of players will get paid in the event.

Last year 507 players took part in the main event in the Spanish capital and the €65,000 top prize was won by Samuel Bernabeu.
