888 Scores U.S. Online Gaming Contract

888 And Partners Win Contract To Supply Delaware With Internet Gaming

Israeli online gaming operator 888, in conjunction with its partners Scientifc Games and WMS, has been selected by the Delaware Lottery to supply in with internet gaming systems and services.

The companies will now negotiate contracts with the U.S. state which is due to launch online gaming, including poker, by the end of September 2013.

Earlier this week Nevada was the first U.S. state to launch legal and regulated online poker.

The companies will, “… provide a full turnkey solution for the gaming platform, content, and operational services using advanced responsible gaming tools and sophisticated player tracking, in response to the Delaware State Lottery’s Internet Gaming System and Services request for proposal (RFP).”

Covered in the request for proposal are online poker and casino as well as video lottery games.

A press release from the gaming operators said, “This joint effort combines 888’s decade-long experience being at the forefront of the online gaming industry with Scientific Games’ proven ability to provide added value, turnkey solutions to government-sponsored (B2G) and commercial (B2B) gaming operators and Williams Interactive’s premium iGaming products and services.”
