UK Advertising Authority Bans Poker AdLuckyAcePoker Reprimanded Over “Misleading” Ad |

The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned an ad from LuckyAcePoker describing it as “misleading.”
It upheld a complaint from a couple who read the “Join Now & Get £10 Free to play with!" ad and joined the Cassava Enterprises Limited-owned LuckyAcePoker but not receive the advertised bonus.
The ASA said the ad “made no reference to the existence of terms and conditions or where to locate them” but that it “considered the availability of the bonus only to consumers who had not previously registered with any sites operated by Cassava was a significant condition that should have been made clear in the ad itself.”
As a result it concluded the ad was misleading and “must not appear again in its current form. We told LuckyAcePoker to ensure they made clear the significant conditions of future promotions.”
