The GRAND Live, the poker tournament formerly known as the Grand Series of Poker, has announced the first two of its four season IV stops.
Malta and Prague will play host to the Ongame Network events from September 3 to 7, and December 11 to 15, 2013.
Both main events will have a €1,000 + €100. Stops three and four, to take place in 2014, will be announced at a later date.
The organizers of the re-branded tour said, “Some things change; whether it’s a natural evolution like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly or simply upgrading your phone, not everything can stay the same forever. The important thing is the improvement, the idea of something better.
“With that in mind, we’re pleased to announce that the fourth season of the GSOP Live will be renamed, ‘The GRAND live’.
“Grand means impressive in size, appearance or general effect; highly ambitious or idealistic and conveniently it’s also slang for the number 1,000 – exactly the amount of Euros you’ll need to enter the main event.”
