A total of 531 entries were made in the 2013 PokerStars European Poker Tour Grand Final €10,600 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event, and from that host of players has emerged what is undeniably the most star-studded EPT main event final table in the tour’s nine-season history. Here is a look at the chip counts of the final eight, who will battle it out for the prestigious title and first-place prize of €1,224,000 ($1,607,969 USD):

Rank Player Chip Count
1 Steve O’Dwyer 4,452,000
2 Andrew Pantling 4,180,000
Chip Average: 1,991,250
3 Jake Cody 1,633,000
4 Daniel Negreanu 1,581,000
5 Johnny Lodden 1,402,000
6 Noah Schwartz 1,068,000
7 Jason Mercier 824,000
8 Grant Levy 786,000

These eight players combine for a total of 37.8 million in live tournament earnings, with a triple-crown winner in Jake Cody and a possible triple crown in the balance for six-time bracelet winner and two-time World Poker Tour champion Daniel Negreanu.

Jason Mercier and the previously mentioned Jake Cody both also have the opportunity to become the first player to ever win two EPT main events.

Chip leader Steve O’Dwyer is looking to improve on his runner-up finish in the 2011 EPT London main event worth $717,728, the largest score of his career so far.

The final table will resume on Sunday, May 12th at 13:00 CET, with a live-streaming broadcast with hole cards available starting at 14:00 CET on EPT Live.
