Golf pro Tiger Woods will be heading to Las Vegas this week to host a charity poker tournament. The whole thing is presented by the World Poker Tour.

The name of the event is the “Tiger Jam.” It beings Friday, May 17, featuring a $10,000 buy-in.

According to a press release, the poker event will be emceed by poker legend Phil Hellmuth and hosted by Tiger Woods himself. The WPT has teamed with the Tiger Woods Foundation to bring the second annual poker event to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

The WPT will film some of the action for inclusion in an upcoming TV episode.

The event is taking place right before the annual $25,000 buy-in WPT World Championship.

In addition to Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Mike Sexton and other poker pros will be playing. Tournament prizes include a round of golf with Woods. According to USA Today, others will win a putting lesson with him, or autographed memorabilia or rounds at top courses.

Woods has won more than $100 million from golf events in his lifetime, far surpassing any amount won by the poker pros that will be in attendance for this event. Hellmuth, for example, has won about $17.3 million from poker.
