The Genting Poker Series Sheffield gets underway today, Wednesday May 15.
Day 1A of the €400 + €40 main event has already attracted 120 registrants and organizers will be hoping to top the 562 runners the tournament got in 2012 when it was won by Hasmukh Kohdiyara.
Genting has guaranteed a prize pool of €100,000 for the event which is being streamed live at its website with “Mad’ Marty Wilson on commentary.
Players start the main event at the Genting Club with 25,000 in chips and a 60 minute clock and can re-enter the tournament once if they bust on their day 1 up to level nine.
