Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Kicks Off August 8

The 33-Event Series Boasts a $10 Million Guarantee Main Event

The world’s best poker players will be attending the 33-event Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open] in Hollywood Fla. running in August this summer.

The first event kicks off Thursday, Aug. 8 with a no-limit hold’em Deep Stack $350 buy-in, guaranteeing a $500,000 prize pool. Event no. 6 on Aug. 12 keeps the momentum high with a $125 no-limit hold’em Deep Stack, which guarantees a $150,000 prize pool.

Upping the stakes even higher is a chance to win your share of a guaranteed $1 million prize pool on Aug. 15 at event no. 7 $560 no-limit hold’em Deep Stack. Event no. 23 of the series, taking place Aug. 26, will appeal to tournament high rollers, featuring a $20,000 buy-in and a $500,000 guaranteed payout.

But the highlight of the series is undoubtedly the $5,300 buy-in main event, boasting an unheard of $10 million prize pool. The action starts Wednesday, Aug. 22 and continues for seven days.

Players will start with 30,000 in tournament chips and can re-enter into any of the three starting flights.

Satellite events will be taking place at five other Seminole Gaming properties including the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Casino Brighton and Seminole Casino Immokalee. Buy-ins start at just $115.

On-site registration for the $10 Million Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open] is now open. To participate, players must obtain a free “Wild Card” at the Player’s Club or in The Poker Room at Seminole Paradise.


The Poker Room at Seminole Paradise offers poker players a comfortable setting with live sports action with its large 80" LED TV and flat-screen televisions throughout the poker room.
